Hon. Kennedy Agyapong a controversial parliamentarian has gotten himself trending on social media during the scuffle at the Parliament House during the election of the Speaker of Parliament.

Hon. Kennedy Agyapong was very quiet throughout the entire time when his learned collegues were brawling in the parliament house and Ghanaians were quick to noticed his silence.

He was trending on the social media, as Ghanaians react to his composure during the brawl.


Politician Hon. Kennedy Agyapong is loud and very controversial which Ghanaians are aware of but for him to be quiet during the fight got Ghanaians thinking why and also won their admiration for what he did.

He has come out Speaking on Oman FM, explaining his reason for remaining silent during the election and this what he said:

“I didn’t want to destroy Akufo-Addo’s swearing-in and that made me sat down quietly and observed the NDC members and what they were doing.

We (NPP) could have fought,but it would have also dragged and affected  the swearing-in of MPs-Elect, the President and his Vice-President.

 We the NPPs  decided to be quiet and not to fight and allow the NDC members have their way.” he added.

Some of the newly elected Parliamentarians got themselves involved in the news by fighting one another during the election of the Speaker of Parliament. This unpleasant scenes caused made Ghanaians condemning the behaviors of some of the parliamentarians during the election in Parliament.
